a Chapter Of The Harvard Club of New Hampshire, and our Host Hugh Eaton '64 MBA Invites you to come to our 11th Annual Meeting, and meet Alumni and their Guests.

Please join us for conversation, jazz, and a light lunch, including charcoal-grilled burgers from steers raised on the property on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, including a Toast to Monadnock Mountain. Please bring family and friends who would enjoy this unique experience.

Those interested hiking can meet me at 10:00, at an 1870 trail leading to the Pumpelly Trail. Closed by the 1938 hurricane, Hugh cleared and reopened it five years ago. We plan to walk to Salt Point, looking west to Vermont and Mt. Ascutney until 11:30 am, returning to join the rest of the group for lunch at 12:30. Then we can visit the pool, the pond, the fountain, and tennis court.

 

From 12:30 to 1:15, and 1:30 to 2:30, we will also enjoyJazz band performing

Jazz Standards from The Hot Club of New England.


We will hold an MHR Meeting to Elect Officers from 1:15 to 1:30.
We hope you will wish to serve as a Director for a one-year Term.

 

Man holding two horsesAt 11:00 am and again at 2:30 pm, we invite you to take an 1880 wagon ride, in two groups of 14 or 16, with the Shire draft horses, Roy and Rob, circling the Big Field, each group will stop briefly at the Lodge with the 2nd story Sun Room on Stilts for us to Toast Monadnock.

If it should rain, we will move everything into the Guest House.

Directions to 185 Old Troy Road, Dublin, NH 03444

At the west end of Dublin Lake, turn south from Rt 101 onto Lake Road for 0.8 miles. Turn right at the end of the Lake Road, onto Marlboro Road (0.9 miles), then turn left, at the Dublin Lake Club Golf Course, onto Old Troy Road for 0.7 miles. Pass the Trail Gate, the Bridge and the #185 Gate in the white picket fence. There will be a sign showing you where to turn in.

To attend the event, drive past the Trail Gate and the first driveway to the main house. Turn left at the second driveway to the Guest House. There will be four parking areas, marked A, B, C, and D where you can park and walk back on the lawn to the east side of the Main House.

Hikers should park on the left side of the road before the bridge, and walk through the White Trail Gate. Tom Blodgett will meet the hikers there at 10:00 am, at the 1870 trailhead. The trail is a wide, not-too-steep road, easy for anyone able to walk a mile. We will walk an hour up and an hour down, with two short cabin stops on the way down.
