Annual Club Membership Meeting

Clean Energy Infrastructure – Opportunities to Impact Climate Change and Build a Clean Energy Economy

Wednesday, July 13, 6:00 PM (Virtual)

Join us for our Annual Club Membership meeting featuring Jim O’Brien, Director of External Affairs at The Nature Conservancy, and Spencer Thibodeau, Northeast Regional Specialist, Office of Intergovernmental & External Affairs, US Department of Energy. The bi-partisan infrastructure bill includes a variety of provisions to support the development of clean energy infrastructure, including electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and electric school buses for school districts among many other clean energy initiatives.

This session will provide information on how federal funds to support these initiatives will flow to the states and the processes to obtain funding. Immediately following the Clean Energy Infrastructure session (around 7:00 PM), The Harvard Club of New Hampshire will conduct its annual meeting. The annual meeting itself is expected to be brief, being limited to officers’ reports, the election of officers and directors, and any other business that may properly come before the meeting.

The regular semiannual Board meeting will follow immediately thereafter; all Club members are welcome to attend that meeting as well. Members interested in attending the annual meeting are asked to email Club Secretary/Treasurer, Doug Chamberlain at douglasrchamberlain@icloud.com at their convenience, but in any case by Monday, July 11. Thereafter directions for joining the virtual meeting, along with minutes of the last annual meeting, a financial report and a meeting agenda, will be furnished to attendees prior to the meeting.
