Monadnock Harvard & Radcliffe
A Chapter Of The Harvard Club of New Hampshire
Tenth Annual Meeting
Join us for Conversation, Jazz, and a Light Lunch
Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 12:30 pm to 3:45 pm
Our Hosts Hugh ’63 MBA, and Gay Eaton invite you to come to our Tenth Annual Meeting, and meet alumni and their guests.
Those with a hiking interest can also meet at 9:30, at an 1870 trail leading from Hugh’s house to the Pumpelly Trail, and thence to the top of the Monadnock. Closed by the 1938 hurricane, Hugh cleared and reopened it five years ago. We plan to climb until 11:00 am, or until we reach the Pumpelly Trail, then return to meet the rest of the group by 12:30.
The rest of the group are invited to arrive at 12:30 to join us for Lunch. From 12:30 to 1:15, and 1:30 to 2:30, we will also enjoy Jazz Standards from the Hot Club of New England.
We will hold an MHR Meeting to Elect Officers from 1:15 to 1:30. We hope you will serve as a Director.
From 2:45 to 3:45 pm, ten or twelve could take a wagon ride with the Shire draft horses, Roy and Rob, around the big field with a great view of Mt Monadnock, circling the big field with the view, or going down Old Troy Road.
Those who do not go on the wagon ride can visit the barn to see the Kentucky Mountain gaited horses, two very friendly miniature donkeys, three Scotch Highland cows, and a Scotch Highland bull.
